New Program:  Characters of the Watershed

This exciting and unique camp, offered in Partnership with Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET), focuses on the inhabitants of the Chattahoochee River Watershed while giving campers the chance to explore nature and the world of theater.

A Camp Kingfisher Counselor and a GET Teaching Artist will partner together to introduce the campers to diverse habitats and animals. Using various drama techniques, campers will be able to explore their creative side as they re-enact, write dialogue, create movements, and build scenes based on what they learned about each day's particular theme.

This is a perfect camp for kids who love to be outside and around animals, and also enjoy the performing arts. This program is a 1-week summer program (June 22 - 26) for campers entering grades 1 - 5. Registration for this program is through Georgia Ensemble Theater www.get.org or (770) 641-1260 and begins January 19.
